Resona Terms of Use

1. Scope

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Resona app, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Resona Privacy Policy.

2. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the app through the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Service, maintenance, or support.

Your use of the app must also comply with Apple’s terms. Unless otherwise stated, the app uses Apple’s standard EULA: Apple Standard EULA.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where required by local law. If you are under the age of majority, you must use the Service with parent or guardian permission.

You are responsible for account security and activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service for unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful activity, including malware distribution.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You retain your rights in content you submit. To operate the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content for Service functionality.

You represent that you have rights to submit your content and that it does not violate third-party rights.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

If the Service includes subscriptions or in-app purchases, pricing and billing terms are shown in-app. For purchases made through Apple, billing, renewal, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple policies.

7. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or business needs. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice for material changes.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Resona is for reflection and communication and is not medical, mental health, legal, or professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resona is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

11. Governing Law and Venue

Except where mandatory consumer law applies, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to courts of competent jurisdiction in Santa Clara County, California.
